IIT Bombay is located in Powai, one of the northern suburbs of Mumbai. The residents of the institute reap the advantage of being in the busy financial capital of India, while at the same time enjoying the serenity of a campus known for its natural beauty.

Event location

Industrial Design center, (IDC) school of design is located inside the IIT Bombay campus. IDC, School of design is a department that offers graduate programs in Product Design, Communication Design, Interaction Design, Animation, and Mobility & Vehicle Design. This year the IIID Mobility and transport forum 2020 conference is hosted by IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay.
